Why did you choose to attend LSU?
I chose LSU because of the opportunities provided by the Stamps Scholarship and the campus organizations that will assist me throughout my stay here. Furthermore, LSU feels like home, and there is always a place where you can fit in, whether it be a club or community that supports you.

What is your proudest accomplishment at LSU so far, and what goals do you have for the remainder of your time at LSU?
My proudest accomplishment at LSU so far is placing third overall for the bouldering competition held at the UREC.

What does receiving the Stamps Scholarship mean to you and your family?
I am truly thankful to be given this opportunity by the Thrive Foundation and LSU. This means a lot to my family and me, as college costs were a big factor in deciding my future. A scholarship relieving those costs removes a mountain of stress from my parents’ shoulders knowing they don't have to worry about my student loans.

How have you used, or how do you intend to use, your Stamps Scholar enrichment funds?
I plan to use my Stamps Scholar enrichment fund to study abroad. Studying abroad has been a big dream ever since my freshman year of high school. I want to explore another country’s teaching method to expand my perspective on a given subject. I believe this will develop my learning in a unique way that will assist me in college and, likely, my future career.

What would you say to the donors of LSU, specifically the Stamp Scholarship program?
Thank you so much for giving me this opportunity! The support the scholarship provides will open doors to opportunities I never knew existed.

What is your favorite memory as an LSU Stamps Scholar?
My favorite memory as an LSU Stamps Scholar is making new friends at the UREC’s climbing area. Albeit, this memory changes, I’ve learned a lot about the LSU undergrad experience from climbers, who extended their studies into LSU’s graduate program.
