Why did you choose to attend LSU?
Growing up fifteen minutes away from LSU allowed the campus to feel like home since I was little. Thus, when I stepped on campus for Scholars’ Weekend my senior year and was welcomed by all the other scholars at LSU, it confirmed my desire that LSU is where I wanted to study for the next four years.

How has your enrollment in the Honors College enhanced your LSU experience?
Being in honors classes has challenged me as an undergraduate student. The support system the Honors College provides assures me that if I ever need help, I’ll have someone to talk to for assistance. Additionally, the unique seminars offered each semester ensures my schedule will never be dull.

What are your future career aspirations?
I plan on pursuing a graduate degree in economics, which I can use to research in the future. I would love to delve deeper into developing countries’ economics and establish methods to alleviate poverty and encourage industrial development in third-world countries.

What would you say to the donors of LSU, specifically the Stamps Scholarship Program?
Thank you so much for supporting me in my pursuit of higher education. Your generosity is immense, and I am so grateful for all the opportunities provided to me through the Stamps Scholarship Program. I promise to use these opportunities to help advance myself and my community.

Tell me about a fellow Stamps Scholar or an Honors College faculty or staff member who has made a difference during your time here at LSU.
When I met Dr. Arms at our Stamps Orientation at the beginning of the year, she made me extremely excited for the years to come. Her pep talk about the enrichment opportunities I can pursue with the Stamps Program made me look forward to studying abroad, hopefully on her program in Oxford.
