At LSU, education extends far beyond the walls of the classroom. The Lagniappe Internship Fund provides students with extra financial support to take their learning to the next level, bridging the gap between academic knowledge and real-world experience. The fund empowers Tigers to say “yes” to meaningful, hands-on opportunities that challenge them, expand their skills, and shape their future careers.

When LSU Law students and military veterans Chad Granger and Marine Corps Captain Kurt Ebert crossed paths, they quickly found common ground, both in their public service and their shared vision for strengthening support for veterans and their families.

Lori Garrison, president and director of the William A. Brookshire Foundation, was awarded an honorary Doctor of Engineering degree in appreciation for her unwavering commitment to education and the legacy of her late father, LSU alumnus Dr. William A. Brookshire.
