In her role as assistant vice president of Talent Management, Yvette Marsh is responsible
for the oversight of all talent management and human resource functions for the LSU
Foundation. After serving in similar roles at other organizations, the three-time
LSU alumna has the privilege of leading efforts to make the LSU Foundation an employer
of choice through culture-impacting initiatives. Examples include employee engagement,
professional development, and performance management.

Why did you choose to build a career with the LSU Foundation?
I’ve always been drawn to mission-driven organizations, and there are few that have
a more impactful mission than investing in philanthropic efforts to advance LSU's
academic priorities.
What does a typical day look like for you?
The day rarely unfolds as planned, but it always involves addressing the needs of
our employees. They keep me on my toes!

work.
Every time we’ve received the “Best Places to Work in Baton Rouge” distinction.
Where is your favorite place on campus?
The Quad. For me, it will always represent the heartbeat and pulse of campus life
at LSU.
