MY LSU
Why did you choose to build a career with the LSU Foundation?
The LSU Foundation’s commitment to providing scholarships and support is what attracted
me to the opportunity. With every gift received, we have the opportunity to change
the trajectory of a student’s life. For me, I believe that philanthropy drives access,
and I am absolutely thrilled to be a part of the Foundation’s quest to continue providing
hope.
What does a typical day look like for you?
When I am not traveling to meet with alumni in the Houston and Dallas areas, I am
in the office at 8 a.m. to begin my workday. My first tasks of the day include reading
the Daily Reports, followed by answering emails from the evening prior. Next, I like
to send out thank you notes, birthday cards, and holiday cards when appropriate. After
lunch, I try to spend at least 30 minutes a day touching base with alumni whom I have
not heard from in a while, followed by any additional emails and preparing for the
next day.
Tell us about your favorite work win or moment when you truly felt the impact of your
work.
My favorite work moment at the Foundation was hearing the impact of LSU Giving Day
2023. To hear how each college collaborated to raise $5.7 million was truly inspiring,
and I loved seeing the schools come together for this monumental celebration.
Where is your favorite place on campus?
My favorite place on campus is anywhere under the oak trees. I absolutely love how
they weave and come together to create something magical!
