Madison Bledsoe began her career at the LSU Foundation in July of 2022 as one of the
Pelican Cohort’s development services coordinators. Madison loves the E.J. Ourso College
of Business, as she earned two degrees and worked as a graduate assistant there before
starting her current role.

Why did you choose to build a career with the LSU Foundation?
I chose to build a career with the LSU Foundation because as a graduate assistant,
I was able to work with the College of Business development team. I knew I would be
a perfect fit with my colleagues.
What does a typical day look like for you?
Every morning, I open my email and see what the day entails – which is what I like
about this position.
Tell us about your favorite work win or moment when you truly felt the impact of your
work.
My favorite work win was watching a “thank you” video from a scholarship recipient
and seeing how my team is helping students to advance their education.
Where is your favorite place on campus?
My favorite place on campus is the City Pork in the College of Art & Design complex
because of Rêve Coffee (the best coffee on campus).
