Doug Jackson

Doug Jackson is a Managing Director and Banker at J.P. Morgan Private Bank. Doug advises some of the most prominent clients in the Greater Dallas region, including business owners, entrepreneurs, C-suite executives and family offices who seek the thought leadership and fortress balance sheet of an industry icon. His focus is on addressing their complex financial scenarios, offering strategies and approaches that can help them progress toward their personal financial intentions.

Doug listens carefully to what his clients wish to accomplish and the goals they value most. Whether they are running successful enterprises or have experienced liquidity events with an eye toward family preservation and multi-generational legacies, he constructs near- and long-term plans in the most tax-efficient manner possible. Doug taps the intellectual strength and specialist resources of J.P. Morgan to inform his recommendations. A native Texan, he understands that clients seek connectivity across the firm, and he provides access to the scale and power of the organization, delivered at a local level.

Throughout his 15-year career, Doug has built a reputation for his understanding of macro environments and his thoughtful approach to mitigating these impacts. He began at J.P. Morgan Private Bank in 2008, providing holistic investment advice to high-net-worth individuals and family offices. Most recently, Doug was Head of Family Office Investments at Citi, leading a team to deliver cross-asset strategies, tactical trading and derivative strategy. Previously, he was a Senior Trader at Elemetal Capital, managing trading flow across precious metals and foreign exchange.

Doug grew up in the business and earned a B.S. in Finance, graduating with honors from Louisiana State University. He is a proud alum of Memorial High School in Houston.

Doug and his wife, Katherine, live in Dallas with their three young children. They are active in their church and with Elizabeth Toon Charities. An outdoors person, Doug is an avid golfer and plays pickleball and tennis.
