J. Herbert Boydstun

Herb Boydstun of Baton Rouge, La., is an alumnus of LSU, where he earned a master's degree in 1972 and attended LSU's School of Banking in 1979.

Boydstun began working with Hibernia National Bank in 1994 and was appointed president and chief executive officer of Hibernia Corporation in December 2000. He is retired from that position.

Current and former affiliations include Metairie Park Country Day Business Advisory Council, LA Association of Business and Industry, Financial Services Roundtable, Business Council of New Orleans, past president of LA Bankers Association, United Way for the Greater New Orleans Area, Ogden Museum of Southern Art Foundation, University of New Orleans Foundation, New Orleans Museum of Art, Committee of 100 for Economic Development, Louisiana State Board of Trustees, and past Chairman of Glenwood Regional Medical Center-West Monroe.
