Suzette Kent
Suzette Kent of Frisco, Texas, earned a bachelor’s degree in journalism, now part of LSU’s Manship School of Mass Communication, in 1990. She is a global business transformation executive and, most recently, served as the federal chief information officer for the United States within the Office of Management and Budget. Appointed by President Donald Trump in January 2018, Kent was the fourth person and first woman to serve in this role. Kent’s career has included leadership roles ranging from partner at Accenture and EY, to president of consulting at a Career Corporation, to managing director at JP Morgan. She has worked with clients around the world, across industries and in the public and private sectors.
Kent has actively supported LSU initiatives throughout her career. She is particularly focused on opportunities to strengthen industry partnerships and programs that support students and faculty in building the future workforce for Louisiana and the nation.
