Ann Forte Trappey
Ann Trappey served as the CEO and President of Forte and Tablada, Inc., a Louisiana-based Engineering and Land Surveying Consultant firm, for nearly 30 years until August 2020 when she sold her stock to two of her younger engineers whom she had been preparing to take over the 60-year-old company. Ann has taken on the role of V.P. Outreach where she continues to provide her management and technical skills to several non-profit organizations such as the YMCA, Rotary Club of Baton Rouge, PAR, Baton Rouge Area Chamber and Capitol Area STEM Network. Over the years, she has served on multiple boards for professional engineering organizations and given back in an advisory board capacity to the LSU College of Engineering and the Civil and Environmental Engineering Department. She presently serves on Home Bank’s Board of Directors.
She is an advocate for infrastructure investment both locally and nationally. She has been recognized by several organizations for her service, not only to the engineering profession, but to the greater Baton Rouge community.
Ann has been married to Fred Trappey, Ph.D., for 42 years. They have 2 adult children who have married wonderful spouses and blessed them with four incredible grandchildren.
