W. Clinton Rasberry Jr.
W. Clinton Rasberry Jr. was born in Shreveport, La. He holds a bachelor's degree from
Vanderbilt University, with post-graduate studies at the LSU Forestry School.
Rasberry has a longstanding career in commercial real estate development, the hospitality
industry, the timber industry, and in minerals. Currently, Rasberry is the managing
partner for Crestview Woods, LP; Rasberry Commercial Properties, LP; and Rasberry
Mineral Lands, LLC; and maintains a cow/calf operation.
Rasberry is the past chairman of the Louisiana Board of Regents, the Council for a
Better Louisiana, the Louisiana Cemetery Board, the Shreveport Chamber of Commerce,
the Shreveport Bossier Economic Foundation, and the Shreveport Community Foundation.
He is past regional officer of Boy Scouts of America, chairman of Norwela Boy Scouts
of America, past chairman of the Strand Theatre Corporation, and past officer of the
LSU Health Science Foundation. He has been on the board of Louisiana Public Broadcasting
and Norwela Council Endowment. He is the current chairman of Sci-Port Discovery Center
Foundation and Norwela Council Endowment. He has been named Business Laureate by Junior
Achievement of North LA Business Hall of Fame and Louisiana Tree Farmer of the year
2012, and is a recipient of the Whitney M. Young award from Boy Scouts of America.
Rasberry is married to the former Pamela Kathryn Wilson and they have one son, Clinton.
He is also a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Shreveport.
